Sex Ed Is

'Sex Ed Is' Campaign

In 2017, The HEAL Project asked parents and (adult) children about the role of sex and sexuality knowledge in addressing child sexual abuse. Sex (Ed) is, is for survivors, sex educators, guardians, caretakers, and families. Come check out what people have to say. Ignacio asked participants these questions:

  • When did you learn about sex?
  • What was the impact of having or not having sex education?
  • What does comprehensive sex ed mean to you?
  • As a parent, how will you speak to your child about sex?
